JDDIEA is committed to long-term preservation and continued access to published content.
Why preservation matters
Preservation ensures that published articles remain accessible even if systems change, websites are migrated, or hosting is interrupted.
Primary preservation (planned)
JDDIEA aims to enable preservation through recognized services such as PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) for OJS-based journals, where applicable.
Alternative options
In addition to PKP PN, journals commonly use services such as LOCKSS/CLOCKSS and other institutional repositories, depending on availability.
Access and backups
JDDIEA maintains regular backups of journal content and metadata. Published articles remain openly accessible on the journal website and via the journal management system (OJS).
