Scope Fit (What JDDIEA Publishes)
JDDIEA publishes research where data-driven intelligence improves an engineering system, process, or decision. Your paper must clearly state the engineering problem, the intelligence method, and measurable evidence.
Common fit areas
- Predictive maintenance, fault diagnosis, condition monitoring
- Smart manufacturing, Industrial IoT, edge intelligence
- Digital twins, reliability and safety analytics
- Energy and power systems, optimization and planning
- Intelligent control and automation
Minimum expectation
- Clear system context (where it applies)
- Strong validation (experiment/simulation/benchmark/case)
- Baseline comparisons
- Clean results + interpretation
Do
- Write the engineering objective in the first page
- Show why your method improves accuracy, stability, cost, or reliability
- Compare against strong baselines
Don’t
- Submit generic ML experiments without an engineering problem
- Make claims without evidence
- Skip baselines or only report one metric

Structured survey with taxonomy, comparisons, gaps, and future scope.
Applied Case Study
Real implementation and outcomes with practical constraints and lessons.
Short Communication
Focused contribution with evidence and clearly stated limitations.

Keep the manuscript easy to review. Use clear headings, numbered figures/tables, and consistent notation.

Submission & Review Process
- Register (first-time authors only)
- Login and start a new submission
- Upload manuscript and relevant files
- Fill metadata and confirm submission
- Track status and respond to revisions from the dashboard
Important
Papers may be returned at screening if scope fit is unclear, validation is weak, or overlap is high.

Publication Ethics
- Originality: no copied content without citation; no manipulated figures/data.
- No duplicate submission: do not submit the same work elsewhere simultaneously.
- Correct authorship: include only real contributors.
- Conflict of interest: disclose funding/conflicts when applicable.
